Part of what I love about my job as a Realtor is that it also allows me to be flexible with my schedule. Everyone benefits – my clients, my family and me!

Today’s technology has given me the freedom to do many tasks from home -just like I am sitting in my office. I can communicate with clients, set up marketing campaigns, check on the status of transactions under contract and follow up with new leads – all while making mac-n-cheese and tending to a mountain of laundry.

Of course there are many days when I am gone from home all day – checking on listings, meeting with clients, networking with peers and scouting homes for sale for new buyers. I love both kinds of days – and am thankful for this wonderful job that fulfills me in every corner of my life.

Today, the temperature is below 20 degrees- totally weird for the area in Texas where I live but true none-the-less. I made an executive decision to keep Sadie home -and do some much needed snuggling, coloring, puzzle-putting-togethering and working from the laptop. Tomorrow I will be back to the office – Sadie will be back at school and I will handle whatever comes my way. (Hopefully its a line of new buyers saying SELL ME A HOUSE!)
