Easy Christmas Decor Ideas!

bewitched I know I know, this time of year can be intimidating when anywhere you look – you see holiday decorations at every turn. You want to just twitch your little nose and POOF! your house will be sparkling, shiny, snowy, lit up and looking fabulous – right? Well, that’s what I wish every year… but we all know that Samantha and Darin were just a TV show couple and “bewitching” your house into Christmas bliss is a fantasy just as unrealistic as opening your front door to Magic Mike carolers in Santa hats on your lawn on Christmas Eve.

So, for those of us who live in the real world and still want to bring a little of that special holiday cheer to our homes – I have compiled a group of pictures to help get your creative cranberry juices flowing. Most of the ideas shown don’t cost a lot of money – and you may even have some or all of the materials needed or you can always do like I do and – continue to line the pockets of the Hobby Lobby family (Bless their hearts)… every day of the week – except Sunday of course.

Some quick pointers;

  • Use holiday or winter themed pillows & throws
  • Try small ornaments or winter pieces under a glass dome
  • Place small lit trees (decorated or not) in bedrooms or rarely used rooms
  • Candy canes are an inexpensive way to liven up your tree – but also look great in a glass or vase too
  • Twinkly lights can make anything look festive
  • Use vases or jars with shatter-proof ornament balls to pretty-up a counter or table top

Happy decorating!!
