So happy to report that I was able to help a first time home buyer couple- with their first purchase! They had lost hope- after having a tough time getting prequalified- and finding the right house in their price range. We were able to find them a lender who works with a local Killeen Texas bond program for down payment assistance- and then a seller who was willing to pay all their closing costs, upfront inspection AND appraisal! Because of the affordable market in the Killeen – Fort Hood area – they are buying a 3 bedroom 2 bath house WITH a pool for $76,000!! I am so happy for them!!
